This Month's News
On January 22, club President Patti Turner accepted a check for $5945.50 from Fall for Greenville, recognizing more than 500 volunteer hours contributed by Newcomers at last fall's festival. Cheers! These funds go directly to our philanthropy, The Ronald McDonald House. Thank you to all who pitched in to make this a banner year. See snapshots from the award ceremony (and other club functions) at our Faces and Places photo album.
The Nominating Committee is hard at work identifying candidates for next year's club board. Committee CoChairs are Carol Bailey and Pat Blume. Members, contact them or any board member if you're interested in being part of this creative and energetic group.
Updates to our club Constitution and By-Laws were approved at the January coffee and general meeting. Check them out on our About the Club page

We had a great turnout—more than 120 registered guests—for the Holiday Luncheon December 18 at the Ryan Nicholas Inn. Thank you to Steve Donner, CEO and President of the Swamp Rabbits hockey organization, for an entertaining presentation and for gifting attendees tickets for the weekend game. Goal!
