We continue our club's history of philanthropy by supporting The Ronald McDonald House in Greenville for 2017-2018.  The Ronald McDonald House is a home to critically ill or injured children and their families, providing hope, encouragement and comfort when they need it most. At any time of day or night, families come to the Ronald McDonald House in search of a place to stay within steps of their child resident at an area hospital.  They fulfill this need along with meals, transportation and compassionate support—all the comforts of home.

As our community and pediatric medical services have grown, so has the need for the house.  Last year 395 critically ill children and their families were provided 3,560 nights of stay.  Sadly, 254 families were turned away because there was not enough room to house them.  In response to that critical need, a second house is currently under construction which will more than double the size and will be connected to the original house.  The Ronald McDonald House is funded by the generosity of local members of the Greenville community and local franchises.

Volunteer opportunities will vary throughout the year, offering our members various ways to support their valiant efforts. Starting in August, Newcomers will provide  will provide dinners every month for families, usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month (except for October and November). The dates are:
